This store is only good to buy either cheap, low quality or popular foods then you have assurance the product is fresh. Every time I go there and buy healthy choice meals from upper shelf I arrive home to find out its already getting bad, slimmy or moldy. I am talking about products such as raspberries, Boston lettuce, quail eggs. It is very aggregated and it's waste of my time and money. Often times the quality of fruits and vegetables is poor, I have feeling they focus too much on having a variety instead of good quality products in larger batches.

Sometimes you will encounter rude cashiers that they speak non-English language in front of you to other employee. I understand helping clients but when it comes to interactions just for fun there is a border for that. Hovewer, they improved significantly on that.
they really did a great job, with Gala, on Vanhouten Avenue , Passaic, N.J. nice store but for the area, prices are just to high, & expensive, I couldn't do my food shopping for the week, @ Gala. When I have to pick up a few things, it's alright, other than that
The store is nice, i had two bad experiences, the first is when they were transitioning from food basic to galafresh, i bought a cheese danish cake, it was molded and a slice was taken out, i took it back the manager was nice she wanted to give me my money back , but i decided to buy something else instead, i forgave that because they were just opening. the second was today i bought three packs of turkey wings, they were slimy and stink, took them back the manager said she put the money back on my card, i asked how long would it take before i see it back she said she don't know. it's not the fact that she don't know its that she act as if she don't care, i don't think i want to go back there to shop again
For organic products such as milk the prices are just ridiculous. Price tags are confusing and misleading too, you will find that stickers on the refrigerators don't match with newspaper.
Generally, I don't like to shop here, great and convinent location of the store, but I am really tired of going there and buying spoiled foods. Last week was my last purchase there where again I bought good looking raspberries that were molded.
2 weeks ago I bought flour from them there were bugs just be aware .So I don't have any trust on this market anymore.

I went there 21:57 . They already locked door in store . I was about to buy just milk but door already closed. They suppose to close 10 pm .I asked one cashier take me in when she let somebody go out of store , she said she can not . I told her it is not 10pm yet she said sorry.????? Also their price tags always confusing . Or some of them they don't even have tag. Probably their end will be like food basics.
